Kenneth W. Anderson spent 20 years as the head of a large social care organisation in Europe. In that time he started a meals-on-wheels service, built volunteer groups that brought young people in to help the elderly, and opened children’s help centres in five cities for children from families in difficulty.
He hired psychologists for these programmes and worked closely with them, and he was directly involved in resolving conflicts inside the families they supported. He saw how control, neglect and silence wear a family down, how long people stay before they ask for help, and what makes the difference for those who rebuild.
Relationships World is where he writes about it in plain language. Kenneth is not a therapist or counsellor, and nothing here replaces professional help. The articles build on real situations, simplified and with details changed to protect the people involved, and point to research and support services where they matter.
Kenneth W. Anderson is a pen name, used to protect the privacy of the families he worked with.
